New media consists of various blogs and websites that provide us with a necessary information in a matter of a few seconds unlike the traditional encyclopedias or books, where reader has to spend hours to find necessary information. Another positive aspect of new media is that it keeps up with the current events, breaking news such as the recent tragedy in Haiti or provides information about events which take place during the winter Olympic Games, dissimilar to old media as newspaper, where readers have to wait for morning newspapers to learn about any major events.Moreover, New media offers an access to information which can be changed, modernize or share with other people compare to old media as books where the written words are often impossible to change.
